New Artisan District Phase Underway

June 24, 2007

New Oak Grove Realty Partners, LLC has begun construction of The Artisan District at Oak Grove. The unique new neighborhood will consist of turn of the century-style homes which feature period architecture. Site development is underway and construction has already begun on six new plans never built before in Oak Grove.

With the construction of the new Artisan District comes the introduction of a new style of architecture to the neighborhood. Dubbed “eclectic vernacular,” this non-traditional home design is a combination of many styles that fit into Oak Grove’s established character. The new district will offer custom homes as well as various spec homes, including the Bungalow, Colonial Revival, Victorian and Federal floor plans.

“We are taking a lot of different elements that we have incorporated in the Oak Grove building process and combining or refining them in order to provide the features that our residents really enjoy,” said Ashley Hill. According to Hill, the new homes will include open floor plans which are conducive to entertaining guests as well as keeping an eye on children.

Another major initiative for the new Artisan District is the creation of a single-story floor plan designed specifically for retired residents interested in the Oak Grove community.

In conjunction with the Artisan district, developers plan to establish nature trail destinations this summer, including stops at various neighborhood amenities.

Developers expect to complete all 97 homesites in the Artisan District within the next three years
